Bailey the New Closer?

Bailey recorded his first save of the season last night, pitching 1 1/3 perfect innings. Aceves was very upset after a postgame conference with Bobby V.

He's back!

Bailey came back a few nights ago allowing 1BB in 1/3 innings while striking out Mark Reynolds.

Mets Waste Dickey's Start

RA Dickey was great through seven innings yesterday, allowing just 4 hits and 2 earned runs while striking out 9. However, the Mets only managed one run on an infield single back in the 4th innings, despite getting 9 hits.

The series against SD continues today.

Dickey will begin pitching on short rest once the Mets reach home after this long road trip.
